What's new

Older updates, page 6 of 8.

61 updates

Tighter screens, and Me is a tab

  • Me is now the fifth tab, next to Social: profile, exercises, tools, settings and notifications are one tap away.
  • Less empty space on every screen: one header line, cards that line up, and Today starts with "Today ยท Wed 30 Sep".
  • One button size per job: small buttons inside cards and lists, the big one only for the main action.
  • Check-in tiles keep one height, History search and the Settings index take one row, and names in Social are calmer.
  • A falling bodyweight is no longer shown in red, and on a computer the page no longer jumps sideways between tabs.

Safer undo and invite links

  • Reset my invite link on Friends: links you shared before stop working. Invite links now last 7 days.
  • Undo right after repeating a workout or starting it early no longer deletes sets you already typed. It keeps its own Undo.
  • Undo after adding a drop only takes back that drop, never a change to another set.
  • Accepting an invite on a bad connection lets you try again instead of saying the link expired.
  • Show again brings your workout back to friends right away, and a failed Google sign-in says why.
  • Group Invite waits for your open links, so it never makes a second one, and an old widget tick never unticks today.

Fewer dead ends

  • Signing in again before deleting your account brings you back to the Delete card.
  • With the Social tab hidden, a dot on your avatar and the Me row show waiting requests and unread Activity.
  • Join and New group work without a handle: they ask for one first and come back.
  • Answering a request with no signal no longer hangs. A new exercise made in the picker asks what a set records.
  • Crew week says when it could not load, with Try again, instead of showing dots for ever.

Progress and History, handier

  • Progress opens on the view you used last, like Body when you are cutting.
  • An opened lift can show all its sessions, and screen readers hear how it changed.
  • Your own exercises stay in the list when you pick a muscle.
  • An edited program has Save and share in one tap.
  • Repeating a workout from History says it started, with Undo. History search says how far back it looked.

Rest and exercises, smoother

  • Set the rest for a lift from its menu, before any rest runs.
  • Add one exercise with the + next to it, no confirm tap. Tick several to add them together, as before.
  • A + Drop tap can be undone, and removing the last drop makes it a normal set again.
  • The drag handle on the web is easier to grab.
  • Deleting a just-logged set, or removing its exercise, stops the rest it started. Undo brings it back.

More small fixes

  • A Google account on the phone is told to set a password, with a link that sets one.
  • Type sets and Workout notes on phones open with the keyboard ready.
  • Delete on a finished workout looks like Delete on phones too, and the warm-up note says where to stop it.
  • Screen readers hear full day names on Welcome, feed cards sit under their day, and the help docs cover passwords and widgets.
  • Editing a finished workout on a phone, a timed set's Start now works.

Small things, fixed

  • Today's check-in has Edit next to it, straight to your check-in items.
  • Home screen widget settings are in the Settings list on phones, with how to add a widget, and an empty check-in widget opens them.
  • Phone links to check-in items, targets and plates open Settings at that section, and Privacy has its own place.
  • Unticking the last item on the check-in widget no longer brings back four items.
  • A widget tick just after midnight now counts for today instead of being lost.

Logging with big text and slow Wi-Fi

  • On phones with very large text, set rows stack so weights and reps are never cut off.
  • On a slow gym connection, starting a workout waits at most about a second before using last time's numbers saved on your device.
  • With reduced motion on, swipes and scrolls in the workout no longer animate.

Find any lift

  • Find a lift at the top of Progress, Lifts: type a name and jump straight to its records.
  • The records grouping chip now reads Group by movement, which is what it does.
  • On phones, Welcome no longer sends you to an import screen that only works on the web. It says where to import instead.

Friends, tidier

  • A friend's profile has High-five while they train.
  • A high-five can be taken back any time on the web too: tap it again.
  • On Friends, requests come first and Share invite link sits next to Find people.
  • Keyboard and screen reader focus no longer jumps to the top after a high-five, Add or Not now.
  • On phones, an old search error goes away on the next search, and no one found is read aloud.

Notifications you can find

  • Me has a Notifications row that shows On, Off or Blocked and opens its settings.
  • When notifications are blocked, Settings says so at once. On phones, Open settings takes you there, and coming back shows the change.
  • The switch says it is for this phone or this browser, and what to be told about applies to all your devices.
  • After Turn on, a line confirms it and says where to change it.
  • With large text, Me rows keep their full names.

From a handle to a friend

  • After you pick your first handle, Profile offers your invite link right away, and Back to Today when you came from Today.

Signing in, smoother

  • Already have an account? Sign in sits at the top of Create account.
  • After a wrong password the cursor goes back to the password field, and phone screen readers read sign-in errors aloud.
  • The password reset email ends with a link back to Liftorra.
  • Forgot password now shows when creating an account too, so a returning user on a new device finds it.
  • If your browser blocks the Google window, sign-in continues on the full page instead.

Answer friends faster

  • Closing comments you opened from Activity takes you back to the Activity list, right where you were.
  • One or two friend requests show Accept and Decline right on the feed, no Review tap.
  • Declining a request in Activity removes it from the list on phones too.

Group invites in two taps

  • Invite a friend to a group from a list of your friends, no handle to type.
  • Invite sits at the top of a group, and the invite link is ready as the sheet opens: tap Share and send it.

Log any exercise from its page

  • Every exercise page has Log it now: it starts a workout with that exercise, or adds it to the one you have open. This works from the website too.

Widget Start that starts

  • On Android, the Today widget tells screen readers what a tap does, like Start or Resume.
  • With no plan, Start on the Today home screen widget now starts a workout instead of just opening the app.

Safer logging

  • + Drop stays under your last set until you tick the next one, and it shows for your very first drop set too.
  • Discard asks once more when sets are logged, and says how many you would lose.

Tests and half workouts

  • Finishing a test or a half-done workout? Tick Doesn't count before you save, and it never reaches your records or the feed.
  • The button now reads Don't count this workout, so it is clear what it does.

Planning with fewer taps

  • A planned day has Edit, which opens that session in your program, ready to change.
  • Start now reaches into next week: with nothing left this week, your next session can start today.
  • Pick several exercises at once when you build a session, like in a workout.
