Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Liftorra: the app at app.liftorra.com, the Liftorra phone app once it is released (it is not in the app stores yet) and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: hello@liftorra.com.
The service
Liftorra is a workout log with a daily check-in, planning, progress tracking and social features. The training log is free, with no ads. Some features are part of Liftorra Plus, a paid monthly subscription (see Pricing and Subscription below). We may add, change or remove features. Nothing you have logged is taken away if you do not have Plus.
Not medical advice
Liftorra, its exercise pages, programs, calculators, cues and coach suggestions give general information only. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Training carries a risk of injury. Check with a professional before you start if you have a health condition, an injury or doubts, and stop if something hurts. You train at your own risk.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to use Liftorra.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give a handle and a name that do not impersonate someone else or mislead.
- You can delete your account at any time in Me, then Settings.
Your content
What you log and write (workouts, notes, comments, your profile) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people your settings allow, only to run Liftorra for you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Fair use
Do not:
- harass, threaten or abuse other people, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in your profile, comments or group names;
- share other people’s personal data without their permission;
- try to access other people’s data, break or overload the service, or get around its security rules;
- use Liftorra to send spam or advertising;
- copy the service or scrape other users’ data.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly. Where we can, we will tell you why.
Subscription
What Plus is. Liftorra Plus adds groups and challenges, notifications and a profile photo. It costs €5 a month. The first 100 Liftorra accounts get Plus free for as long as Liftorra runs (“founding members”).
Who bills you. Plus is sold by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, charges the VAT that applies where you live and sends your invoices; its own terms apply to the purchase. We never see your card details.
Monthly, until you cancel. Plus renews every month on the day you started it until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Me, then Plan, then Manage subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal. If you live in the European Union, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because Plus starts right away, you ask us at checkout to start it during that period; if you then withdraw, you may be charged for the days you used. To withdraw, write to hello@liftorra.com or contact Lemon Squeezy.
If a payment fails. Lemon Squeezy tries again for a while. If the payment still does not go through, Plus ends. You keep everything you logged.
Without Plus. Your workouts, bests and history stay yours. In groups you are in you can still see everything, but you cannot invite people or start challenges. Notifications stop. A profile photo you already have stays; adding a new one needs Plus.
Price changes. If the price changes, we tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds outside the withdrawal period and the notice period for price changes: pending.
Groups
Group owners and admins decide who is in their group and can remove members. Invite links work for anyone who has them while they are valid; share them with care.
Availability
We work to keep Liftorra running and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own notes of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
Liftorra is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury that results from training. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will announce it on this page and in the app before it applies; if you keep using Liftorra afterwards, the new terms apply. You can stop using Liftorra and delete your account at any time.
Governing law, jurisdiction and the legal entity behind Liftorra: pending.
