What's new

Older updates, page 4 of 8.

12 updates

Invite a friend without leaving Social

  • Share invite link with no handle yet now asks for one right there, with a suggestion filled in. Save and the link is shared.
  • A group page now says which workouts count only once.

9 updates

A keypad that holds still

  • The keypad keys no longer jump when the line under the number appears or goes away, so a quick second tap lands on the key you aimed for.
  • On the web, fast taps no longer zoom the page, the installed app can turn sideways, and the keyboard no longer covers buttons in sheets.
  • Accept is now the main button on a friend request, with Decline beside it.
  • The count on What's new now counts new things and improvements, not small fixes.

Undo after Start now keeps your sets

  • On the web, the "Moved to today" note after Start now no longer pops up again with every change, and its Undo can no longer throw away sets you already logged.
  • Opening one workout or program and quickly moving to another no longer shows details from the first on the second.
  • Revoking a group invite and then switching groups right away now removes the right invite.

Back says where it goes

  • Back buttons now name the screen they take you to, like Social, History or the group you came from, instead of a plain Back or a page you did not come from.
  • On the web, when Groups sends you to your profile to pick a handle, Back takes you straight back to Groups. In the app, saving your profile does.

Google sign-in on iPhone and iPad

  • Signing in with Google on an iPhone or iPad now opens Google in the same tab and brings you straight back, signed in. It used to drop you on another tab.

A second tab loads again

  • Opening Liftorra in a new browser tab no longer gets stuck loading when another Liftorra tab is asleep in the background.

Profile photo fix

  • Changing your profile photo on two devices at the same time no longer leaves a broken photo. The newest one wins, and the other device tells you.

Hevy imports keep supersets

  • Importing from Hevy now keeps your supersets and circuits linked. Workouts you imported before stay as they are.

Android app: Google and notifications

  • The Android app now lets you sign in with Google and can send you notifications, like kudos and friend requests. Turn them on in Me, under Notifications.

Shared programs keep supersets

  • A shared program now shows its supersets and circuits, and a copy keeps them linked.
  • Linking or unlinking exercises in a program you shared reminds you to update the link.

15 updates

Reps for each set

  • Give each set of a program exercise its own reps, like 6 to 8 on set 1 and 8 to 12 after. Tap a set number in the program to change just that set.
  • Sets can also have a target RPE and a kind, like a warm-up or a set to failure.
  • The logger fills each set from its own target, and suggests more weight once every set reaches its own top.
  • An exercise with only one set no longer starts a rest timer after it, unless you picked a rest before the next exercise.

Supersets and circuits

  • Pair exercises as a superset, or link more as a circuit. The logger goes back and forth between them and rests after each round.
  • Tick a few exercises in Add exercise and tap Add as superset to add them already linked.
  • Link exercises in your program too. Supersets come along when you start the session, repeat a workout or save it as a program.

Change your program in two taps

  • Today and Plan now show which program you are on. Tap Change to switch, start a new one, or just log, with Undo.
  • A program you start while another one is running now becomes your program when you create it from Change.

Easier to read updates

  • What's new is easier to read: updates are grouped by day, with older ones a tap away.

No more endless spinners

  • If a screen gets stuck or breaks, you now see what happened and a Try again button, instead of an endless spinner.
  • Plan and Programs no longer keep loading forever right after you sign up on a weak connection.

Rename your own exercises

  • Rename your own exercises with the Edit button on the exercise or in your exercise list. Your history, records and programs follow the new name.
  • A new exercise typed all in lowercase gets capital letters, and older ones get a one-tap fix.

Your coach's program from a sheet

  • Paste your coach's program from Google Sheets or Excel, or pick a CSV file, and get a program with all its days. On the web, under Me, Import and export.
  • Names Liftorra does not know become your own exercises or match one from the list, and are remembered next time. Weights go in a note on each exercise.
  • No sheet yet? Download the template or copy the example, fill it in and paste it back.

Cardio and timed sets

  • A stopwatch on every timed set, cardio too: tap Start stopwatch, then Stop, and the time fills the set. It keeps running if you switch apps or lock the phone.
  • Your own exercises can track just a number, like kcal, floors or laps. It never counts toward your volume.
  • Type sets now reads cardio the way you write it, like 20min, 5km 25:00 or 300 kcal.
  • A cardio set counts with just a time, so 20 minutes on the stair climber needs no distance.
  • A time or distance typed with Type sets from the keypad, like 45s or 5km 25:00, now saves on the set.

Names in comments open profiles

  • Tap a name in the comments to open that person's profile.

Backup exercises

  • Machine busy? Your swap is remembered as the backup for that exercise in your plan, and it shows up first next time.
  • Not in the list? Type the name in the swap sheet and it is added and swapped in at once.
  • Backup sets keep their own history and records, and the main exercise shows how often you did the backup.
